How to delete your data

This page explains how to have your account or your data removed from Kritie, depending on who you are.

You use Kritie for your business

Delete some data yourself: contacts, chats, leads, campaigns, templates and team members can be deleted inside the app at any time by an admin of your account.
Disconnect WhatsApp: Settings → WhatsApp → remove the number. We then stop receiving anything for it from Meta. You can also remove Kritie from your WhatsApp Business Account in Meta Business Manager.
Close the account and delete everything: an admin writes to team@kritie.com (or uses Settings → Help & support in the app) from the email address on the account, asking to close it. We confirm the request, close the account and delete its data within 30 days.

A business messaged you on WhatsApp through Kritie

That business holds your details and decides how they are used. Reply STOP to its message to stop marketing messages, or ask the business directly to delete your details. If you cannot reach the business, write to us with the business name and your phone number and we will pass your request on.

You signed in with a login someone gave you

Ask the admin of your business account to remove your login (Settings → Team). Your name and email are then removed from the account; messages and notes you wrote stay with the business, without your login attached.

You sent us an enquiry through this website

Write to us and we delete your enquiry and contact details within 30 days.

What is kept after deletion

Invoices and payment records, for as long as tax law requires (8 years in India).
Short-lived backups, which expire on their own within 30 days.
Nothing else: contacts, chats, files, leads, campaigns, templates, tokens and settings are deleted.
